Apprenticeship Success and Further Amazon Web Services Achievements at Skillsforge
We're pleased to announce that Chris, one of our Development Specialists, has passed his 15-month apprenticeship course in Software Development through Baltic Training Ltd.
The course focused on software methodologies and programming with a number of exams, integrated with practical skills developed at Skillsforge.
Chris is a big advocate of apprenticeships, saying: “The support from my tutor was fantastic and he took a real interest to understand my background, SkillsForge and how I wanted to develop my skill set. Studying while on the job gave me a chance to gain all the practical skills and knowledge needed to get me started on a career path I’ve always dreamed of.”
"Chris' user interface work was exceptional and he had a strong understanding of the development life-cycle and how his role fitted within it. He clearly articulated how Skillsforge functions and explained his role and responsibilities within the organisation." - Chris's Tutor
At SkillsForge, we actively support those with a serious interest in entering the software development industry and want to learn through apprenticeships and continuous professional development (CPD). Another one of our Development Specialists, Ben, is also completing a similar software development course with Baltic Training as well as engaging in CPD.
We proactively encourage our team to continue their learning journey throughout their career and we are delighted to announce that Prasanna, our Chennai-based team member, has just passed his Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified Solutions Architect - Associate exam. This is a huge undertaking, as these qualifications require extensive studying, knowledge, and experience. Prasanna is the fifth member completing their AWS certifications.
Having a well-trained, well-informed SkillsForge team facilitates us in providing the best possible service and solution to our customers and underpins our belief in continuous learning and development - so it's great to hear all of this positive news. A big shout out to Chris, Ben and Prasanna!
